Prada and Adidas in the first NFT collaborative project exploit the Polygon blockchain

As seen on Adidas’ official handle, Italian luxury fashion house Prada and sportswear giant Adidas are building their first collaborative NFT project on Polygon blockchain. Adidas, which had earlier ventured into the Metaverse, has now teamed up with Prada to launch a user-generated NFT art project, dubbed Adidas for Prada Re-Source. Polygon notes that this is a significant milestone to keep eyes on.

The NFT project seeks to use the recent Re-Nylon collection via cryptography to co-create a large-scale digital artwork. Fans of both brands could submit their photos to the Polygon network, with 3,000 coins to be minted individually as NFTs. After that, digital artist Zach Lieberman will combine and recreate the chosen photographs as tiles to create a gigantic NFT.

The two international brands recently announced their third collaboration—the Adidas for Prada Re-Nylon collection—into the Metaverse.

Polygon expands NFT market coverage

U.Today earlier reported that Polygon is teasing a big announcement for the Indian gaming community. IndiGG, a collaboration of Yield Guild Games, a play-to-earn guild that brings players together to earn through NFT games and Polygon Studios, the games and NFT arm of Polygon recently raised $6 million to boost play- to-earn in India.

This is quite significant as India remains home to the largest gaming talent pool, with more than 400 million gamers in the over $1.8 billion gaming market.
