
Olympic gold medalist and U.S. basketball legend Scottie Pippen now has his own ‘customized’ NFT
Scotty Pippen, the iconic basketball player who won six NBA championships with the Chicago Bulls in the 1990s, performed the first custom-made NFT with his image.
Scottie Pippen gets personal custom-made NFT on Arbitrum
Mr. Pippen took to Twitter yesterday, Nov. 10, 2022, to show the picture that was immortalized as a non-fungible token (NFT), created via the Smolverse platform.
The NBA star said he is ready to investigate a new generation of promising NFT products. The token displays Mr. Pippen in a Chicago Bulls shirt with the number 33: The Bulls retired their number on December 8, 2005.
Backed by decentralized NFT and metaverse platform Treasure DAO, Smolverse leverages Arbitrum, the largest Ethereum second-layer scaling solution, to create pioneering NFT experiences.
As previously covered by U.Today, in May 2022, Smolverse created an NFT with Mario Götz, the 2014 FIFA World Cup winner, and “The German Messi”.
The Legend of Bayern Munich, Borussia Dortmund, PSV Eindhoven and Eintracht Frankfurt even changed his profile picture on Twitter to the Smolverse NFT.
