What is DeFi Kingdoms (JEWEL)?
DeFi Kingdoms is an NFT game, with a DEX, its platform also provides liquidity pool, utility-driven rare NFT market, and it all unfolds seamlessly in the incredibly nostalgic form of fantasy pixel art. We are excited to release the DeFi Kingdom universe to the world.
DFK was released on August 22, 2021 as a DEX with LP cultivation opportunities, and additional features are constantly being added. DeFi Kingdoms is using the Harmony Protocol blockchain with its native currency ONE.

Is the DeFi Kingdoms Game free to play?
The game itself is free, however there is a transaction cost (gas) every time you interact with the blockchain, such as when you make a profile when entering the game. Thanks to Harmony’s very low fees, it’s a fraction of a penny.
Once in the game, you can spend as much or as little as you like by adding to the liquidity pools on the Marketplace and betting LP Tokens at Gardens or JEWEL at Bank.
You can also spend JEWEL to buy Hero NFTs at the Tavern. They can be used to gather resources through their professions and can be combined with other heroes to summon new heroes from the inner grove.
How does DeFi Kingdoms work?
DeFi Kingdoms is intended to be a complete ecosystem of features that includes the JEWEL token, the DEX, the NFT Active Gardens (Heroes, Equipment and Kingdoms), as well as the game activities that can be performed with these NFTs.
Token (JEWEL)
The JEWEL token is much more than an average cryptographic token. We are establishing it to be the main symbol of value in game, DeFi Kingdoms. You’ll use it to buy the most useful items and unique NFTs like Heroes and Kingdoms in the game, as well as various in-game buffs like speeding up build times and renewing stamina. The token is not only used for in-game items and unique NFTs, but will also be used in liquidity mining, allowing you to earn even more through wagering. JEWEL is also a symbol of governance, so holders will have a say in the project’s growth and evolution.
Decentralized Exchange
At its core, DeFi Kingdoms has a decentralized switch that uses the tried and true UniswapV2 protocol. Investing is one of the main reasons we are attracted to blockchain technology and we want to make the investing experience fun and enjoyable for everyone within the realm.
In the Market, you can exchange tokens at current exchange rates. You can also become a Liquidity Provider by adding liquidity to any pool of tokens you like. You will receive fees whenever someone trades these tokens. Alternatively, these LP tokens can also be wagered in the Gardens to earn JEWEL rewards.
Another unique feature that DeFi Kingdoms offers is the Bank, where you can deposit JEWEL tokens to receive xJEWEL shares. The Bank will receive DEX fees and will periodically make a market purchase of more JEWEL tokens, which means your xJEWEL shares will always be worth more JEWELs than you invested! In addition, each transaction in the JEWELs game will deposit a percentage in the Bank to further reward xJEWEL holders.
the gardens
At its core, Gardens is a place to bet liquidity provider tokens to receive JEWEL tokens. You will earn JEWEL tokens to use in-game for rare NFTs and other items ONLY by wagering LP tokens! It’s a powerful part of the game and a lot of fun.
The view on liquidity pool mining is unique and recent. We are building an epic world and gardens to represent pairs of tokens and mining liquidity wells. In each garden (ie LP pairing), you will be able to see your share of the total lot share represented by your plants. The gardener is busy taking care of his plants (this represents a countdown between the mined blocks) and, once harvested, the gardener deposits his produce in the deposit which represents his share of the JEWEL tokens of the mined block. There will be ways to increase and increase your income through in-game items that will give you more rewards in GEM tokens!
The heroes
While gardening and growing JEWEL tokens is incredibly adorable in itself, we wanted to add some sword and sorcery to this fantasy realm, and what better way to do that than to introduce unique pixel heroes on the market?
We’re going a step beyond your standard NFTs, NFTs Hero will be playable characters with which you can level up and earn GEM! These NFTs aren’t just made to sit on a shelf and look good, they’re one of the main features of the game. As they’re assigned to missions, PVP battles, or dresses to maximize their stats, they’ll level up and earn tokens for you throughout the adventure.
Call and negotiation – Heroes are summoned through a portal of dimensions, and each new Hero is completely unique. There are virtually infinite combinations of parts that make up each unique NFT Hero, so no two will ever be the same – in stats or appearance.
The Tavern is the place to buy and sell Heroes. Players can also offer their heroes for rent at the tavern, to be used by other players for summoning.
You can buy Heroes from the Tavern, but you can also summon new ones by combining genes from your current Heroes! With summoning, you’ll never know exactly what kind of hero will exit the portal next – you could end up with an extremely rare and valuable tradable NFT.
hero genes – Heroes have two sets of genes, one for appearance and one for their playable attributes, such as profession, class, subclass, passive and active abilities, and more. During the summons, the newly summoned hero will randomly acquire genes from both parent heroes used in the summons. There is also a chance for gene mutations, resulting in new and rare abilities and classes!
Equipment – Heroes will be able to find and equip valuable equipment NFTs that will grant them special active and passive abilities and increase their stats.
Estatísticas – Heroes will have various stats that determine how effectively they can perform different missions. These stats can be increased as heroes gain XP and level up.
Missions – Heroes can participate in various quests within the realm. Profession quests allow heroes to gather resources and money in the game while gaining experience or increasing the production of their gardens. Adventure missions will be PVE missions that reveal knowledge, tell stories and reward players with a variety of items.
Pets – Heroes can sometimes find eggs that can hatch in rare pets that will accompany them on their adventures. These pets can grant stat bonuses, passive abilities, and more.
PvP – Heroes will be able to participate in periodic tournaments in groups of 3 to compete against other players for JEWEL prizes. Maximize your stats and take your rightful place as world champion!
Kingdoms
On the DeFi Kingdom world map, there will be a limited supply of terrain plots available for purchase. Not only will you be able to claim land for yourself, but you will also be able to build your kingdom by investing in upgrades that will provide you with resources for upkeep! Your land will house your developing kingdom and will be clearly visible to everyone on the world map.
buying and selling – Location, location, location! Not all lands are created equal. Some will provide more of one resource than another, based on nearby forests, rocks, and other resources. Some will be closer to the capital, requiring less resistance to participate in certain missions. Others will be closer to various dungeons and quests, requiring less travel time to complete them.
If you want to sell your NFT realm someday as property values go up, you can. Realms can be bought and sold at the capital’s estate, including all improvements made to the realm and all buildings built there.
buildings – Buildings can be built within your realm and upgraded to increase your bonuses. Resource buildings can be built next to resource nodes to allow your realm to start accumulating the resources you need to build more buildings and craft rare equipment for heroes.
Other buildings can provide passive bonuses to your heroes, improving mission efficiency and stats. Still others may allow you to earn higher multipliers on your garden betting rewards. Buildings are a fun and exciting way to increase your game effectiveness.
forage – Owning land also gives you the ability to seek resources every day, with the opportunity to find rare and valuable materials or even equipment for your heroes.
Gameplay DeFi Kingdoms
DeFi Kingdoms is a browser-based NFT game, so all you need to configure your system is a browser compatible with the MetaMask extension installed. Much of the gameplay in DeFi Kingdoms is centric Heroes, the utility-based NFTs that can pool resources with Professions and will eventually be able to participate in combat missions and even PVP. If you still don’t have enough JEWELRY to buy a Hero, that’s fine too! You can invest what you have through the Bank (DEX rate division) or Jardins (liquidity pool) to start earning more JEWELS.

Rarity
Each hero not only has a class, subclass and set of , but also a rarity level. Each summon has a chance to produce Heroes of each rarity level; however, the one with more rare heroes increases the probability that the summoned hero is of a higher rarity. Rare Heroes are coveted because each rarity level matches your Hero’s base stat levels with bonuses.
The following symbols appear in the center of your Hero card, indicating your rarity level.
Missions
In addition to summoning, the main focus of heroes is to go on quests and collect useful items and experience. Quests can be divided into two categories: and Adventure Quests. Profession Quests are non-combat oriented quests to learn and excel in different skills useful for the realm. Adventure missions involve going to a remote location with a team of heroes to fight evil, and the spoils of those battles are yours. Adventure missions will not be available until later stages.
Four different professions will be available to heroes shortly after the launch of Phase 2. They are: mining, fishing and food gathering. Each Profession has a Profession Skill associated with it, which has a chance to increase each time a Hero does an Associated Profession Quest. As these abilities increase, so will the Hero’s ability to earn rewards from that profession. Furthermore, each of these professions has a gene associated with it. Heroes receive additional benefits from doing profession quests that match their profession gene, including an increased chance for rewards and a reduction in the quest’s Stamina cost
Gardening
Gardening requires wisdom to give plants time to grow, and plants seem to respond best to those with great vitality. Gardening is mainly done in the garden itself, which helps to speed up the growth of JEWEL plants, but visiting any garden and taking the time can still result in some useful crops. Increasing a Hero’s gardening skill can lead to more JEWEL rewards and greater chances of finding other resources.
Gardening is a passive activity you send to heroes. A hero can visit one garden at a time. Heroes gather rewards every 12 minutes of gardening, as indicated on the quest screen. Heroes with Gardening as their primary profession will gather rewards every 10 minutes. When the player interrupts the Hero’s Gardening action, he will receive rewards based on how many full 12-minute periods (or 10 minutes with the Gardening skill) were spent.
forage
Gathering involves climbing fallen trees in search of useful foliage. It takes skill to be a good climber and intelligence to choose useful plants from the mob. Take a walk through the forest and see what you find! Increasing Fodder increases the chance of finding useful items and allows Heroes to search more often.
Collecting quests show a stamina cost and a minimum time per attempt in the main quest window. Heroes with Foraging as their primary profession spend a reduced amount of Stamina per attempt. Groups of heroes can be queued for food collection missions at the same time, and they can also be queued for multiple attempts in one transaction. The Quest window will update with the total time required based on Heroes and the number of attempts selected.
Pescaria
Fishing means waiting and responding quickly when you get a lucky bite. Those with nimble hands and healthy luck will find their buckets full of fish. Do you have what it takes? Increasing your catch increases your chances of catching better fish and allows Heroes to fish more often.
Fishing quests show an endurance cost and a minimum time per attempt in the main quest window. Heroes with Fishing as their primary profession spend a reduced amount of Stamina per attempt. Groups of heroes can be queued for fishing missions at the same time, and they can also be queued for multiple attempts in one transaction. The Quest window will update with the total time required based on Heroes and the number of attempts selected.
Gold mining
Gold mining missions can be performed by a party of 1 to 6 heroes at a time. Heroes can be queued to begin the quest as soon as the Stamina of the Heroes performing the quest is spent; however, the hero group will stop mining once any hero’s stamina reaches zero. Also, once a group of any size enters the mine, additional miners cannot be added to the group. These heroes will queue up and will not begin their quest until a hero from the previous party reaches 0 Stamina, causing the entire party to stop mining.
