After more than a year following the introduction of its Architects of the Future delegation approach, which was first introduced in October 2021, the Cardano Foundation today announced the end of the redelegation process for Wallets 9.
At that time, the company changed its delegation strategy to concentrate on creating the Cardano ecosystem and assisting people that provide value to it. With this modification, the delegation approach now places a stronger emphasis on stake pool community contributions, supporting the creation of open-source products and providing support for the larger ecosystem.
This effort highlights the outstanding contributions made by stake pool operators and helps the Cardano ecosystem thrive (SPOs).
The application form was streamlined by deleting several questions, and more information was immediately taken from the blockchain in an effort to speed up the procedure.
The Cardano Foundation got a number of legitimate applications in this round and thoroughly considered each one. They came across a broad variety of contributions, from educational materials to construction tools. Many pools were given honourable mentions for their noteworthy contributions to the Cardano community.
By a random draw, the organisation chose a number of applications as important contributions.
During the upcoming cycle of redelegation, the Foundation intends to open a new application form later this year.
