The community is enthusiastic about the implementation of Self-Sovereign Identity by Shiba Inu in Shibarium.
Shiba Inu head Shytoshi Kusama writes in a blog post about the countless opportunities the SHIB SSI solution offers when included into Shibarium and other Shib projects.
The possibilities are almost limitless when you combine Shibarium’s low cost with the other incredible technologies the entire Shib community has created for this new L2 solution with Shib SSI, Kusama said in the blog post.
Shiba Inu introduced a new digital age in which all SHIB platform apps would incorporate digital identification services.
Self-Sovereign Identity is, by definition, a collection of protocols and technologies that allow a user of a system to store both their assets and identity (along with other verified credentials) in a wallet.
Shib SSI, which is expected to result in a paradigm change, is praised by Kusama as “helping our community of developers achieve wonders.”
Shibarium creators and community members would be able to completely own and properly utilise their data thanks to the Shib Sovereign Identity. This is so that SHIB SSI may provide granular governance at a level never previously achieved by a decentralised community, which resolves the complexity of the Shib ecosystem.
The Shib SSI idea may also be used to other use cases that have been researched for years.
Wen SSI?
Kusama claims that the integration of Shib SSI into Shibarium won’t happen overnight and will require months of research and the development of a robust system.
