A small amount of ETH was moved to Shibarium by the software engineer known as @CryptoLeadDev on the X app (formerly known as Twitter) as an experiment to observe how the Shibarium Bridge functions (and whether it does, in fact, function).
He informed his followers of the specifics of the operation once the experiment turned out to be effective.
Testing Shibarium Bridge to send ETH
To save his followers from having to test the Shibarium Bridge themselves, @CryptoLeadDev stated that he has chosen to test it himself. He first entered 0.01 ETH to be sent to Shibarium. That procedure’s first projected cost was $1.95. However, it increased to $2.65 when the Metamask wallet opened.
The ETH transaction was then started by him. The money was subsequently labelled “en route,” which meant that the Shibarium Bridge was now in charge of transporting it. The 0.01 ETH was finally transferred to upgradeable proxy contracts. Eight minutes later, the ETH finally made it to @CryptoLeadDev’s wallet.
Finally, since WETH is a new token for Shibarium, he had to designate it as a “Custom token” to aid with Wrapped Ethereum’s recognition since WETH is a whole distinct smart contract on both Shibarium and Ethereum.
The 0.01 WETH then eventually made it to @CryptoLeadDev’s wallet. Shibarium bridge seems to be operating OK. Happy dance! He tweeted, “Horray.
Shibarium mainnet reaches new milestones
As U.Today previously reported, a number of significant indicators on the Shibarium mainnet, which was reactivated last week, have skyrocketed to record highs. In instance, Shibariumscan reports that compared to Monday, when only 350,000 transfers were detected, the overall number of transactions has increased to 463,373.
The quantity of linked wallets increased from 65,000 to 138,570 over night.
