Unification (FUND), the innovative blockchain start-up that created Shibarium, has launched its validator node, marking an important turning point for the Shiba Inu ecosystem. All BONE token owners are now able to interact with the network on a completely new level thanks to the long anticipated change.
BONE, the unique “passport” to Shibarium, is at the core of this breakthrough, as was previously described. According to the protocol, which relies on proof-of-stake consensus, network membership necessitates the delegation of BONE tokens to a selected validator for staking.
In terms of staked tokens, Unification’s validator has cemented its position as the largest operator of Shibarium nodes at the moment. Four million BONE tokens in total have been placed in the capable hands of Unification, with a significant self-stake of 9,999 tokens required for node operation.
Surprisingly, ShibArmy Africa holds down the second position on the leaderboard with a respectable 3.83 million BONE tokens invested. ShibArmy America follows closely after, securing its spot in the trifecta with 3.27 million tokens committed to staking.
Following some initial setbacks, Shibarium just reopened, and progress was made thanks in large part to colleagues from Polygon (MATIC) who provided their knowledge in network debugging. Shibarium wallet sales have experienced a spectacular increase, surpassing the desired 100,000 milestone, indicating increased interest within the SHIB community. The larger crypto community is anxiously anticipating the ecosystem’s future developments as Shibarium prospers under Unification’s growth.
