Shiba Inu’s official marketing lead Lucie just tweeted about the SHIB team’s plans to burn not only SHIB, but also the other main tokens used on Shibarium (including two new ones that have not yet been introduced).
All of this will be achievable owing to the new Sheboshis NFT collection.
Plans to burn Shibarium tokens
Lucie revealed that the team intends to utilise the proceeds from the sale of the new NFT collection Sheboshis to burn Shibarium native tokens such as SHIB, BONE, and others.
Those Sheboshis that are not claimed by Shiboshi holders will be forwarded to Uniswap for sale. The SHIB team will burn tokens with all of the money from such sales (10%).
6% of the cash will be spent on burning SHIB, 1% on burning BONE, and 1% on burning LEASH. They will also put aside 1% of their cash to burn TREAT and SHI whenever these coins are available.

As previously reported by U.Today, Shytoshi Kusama, the chief creator of Shiba Inu, protested to the SHIB community’s plan to burn BONE using petrol costs earned on Shibarium. This time, the decision to send not just SHIB to the unspendable wallets was validated by the whole team, as well as Kusama, who oversees all team decisions.
Here’s where the remaining 50% will go
The club intends to set away up to 50% of the sellout revenues, according to the tweet. The remaining funds will be distributed to non-profit organisations (10%), the Foundation (15%), and the SHIB team (15%).
Lucie indicated that the remaining 50% “will go towards the expenses and treasury.” This will assist the team in completing “the constantly autonomous and fully decentralised “Network State,” as defined in the Shib Paper.
