Thanks to a matching funding from ArbitrumDAO, TogetherCrew analysts may soon be able to use the Reputation NFT system on Arbitrum (ARB). Daniel Ospina of RnDAO posted this message on the main community forum for Arbitrum.

TogetherCrew, supported by RnDAO, is developing a mechanism to gauge and authenticate the genuine social media activity of various Arbitrum (ARB) enthusiasts.

Contributors will use the TogetherCrew UI to mint nontransferable NFTs (for free) in order to build the Reputation NFTs.

Social graph mapping and conversation analysis will be done by the algorithm. They will then be utilised to determine an individual’s level of community context. This method is resistant to Sybil and may be applied to incentives programmes, as a carry-around credential (as evidence of participation or membership), etc.

The precise list of social media platforms that qualify has not yet been released, but the grant proposal identified Github, Telegram, Discord, and Discourse as possible platforms to be examined by the process.

Although the project has all of its funding from grants, the precise date of its activation is yet unknown. These methods have already been developed for Aave and other cryptocurrency market participants via the platform that powers Arbitrum’s Reputation NFTs.

The community for Arbitrum (ARB) approved the start of a significant effort focused on gaming yesterday. 225 million ARB tokens were handed by the project to the recently established Gaming Catalyst Programme (GCP).

In the Play-to-Earn and GameFi parts, the programme focuses on the “immediate” adoption of Arbitrum (ARB), its L3 development framework Orbit, and its language-agnostic SDK Stylus.
