Shibarium Registers New Inflow of Users, Hits Biggest Milestone Since Launch

Shibarium

Recent data made available by Puppyscan reveals that the Puppynet, a version of Shibarium beta, has seen a considerable increase in the number of linked wallets during the past 24 hours.

Shibarium wallet number grows

The number of wallets has reached 14 million and is currently at 14,061,562. Compared to earlier this week, the increase has been much slower this time. Puppynet has gained about 100,000 wallets since Thursday, whereas earlier surges increased the number of new addresses by up to three times.

Nevertheless, a purported member of the Shiba Inu team recently claimed on Twitter that he had built almost nine million wallets for Shibarium in order to stress test the Layer 2 network’s beta version. Puppynet only had 5,833,845 wallets connected to it a week ago.

There have been 4,472,462 transactions overall as of right now. One month after the Shibarium beta launch, on April 11, the daily average of transactions reached a record high of 891,165.

The community expects 500 billion SHIB burned per year

According to a prominent SHIB-focused Twitter account, @ShibBPP, they would be impressed if Shibarium could burn at least 500 billion Shiba Inu tokens in a calendar year. Prior to this, billions of Shiba Inu were expected each week or month, according to several tweets.

In order to remove money from the circulating supply, a portion of the transaction fees paid in BONE governance token are now converted into Shiba Inu and distributed to dead wallets, where they are permanently destroyed.

As previously reported by U.Today, the SHIB army’s joint efforts over the course of the past 24 hours assisted in the removal of 27,575,359 Shiba Inus. In a single transaction, half of that amount was transferred to a dead wallet.

Whale grabbing hundreds of billions of SHIB

Whales continue to purchase more of these meme currencies despite efforts to lower their supply in circulation. Famous wallet tracker WhaleStats revealed earlier today that investor “BlueWhale0073,” noted for their regular purchases of SHIB, snatched more than 311 billion Shiba Inu in two transactions – 194,114,774,578 SHIB and 117,883,960,216 SHIB valued at $2,069,263 and $1,256,643, respectively.

Among the top 500 whales on the Ethereum network, this whale is placed 254th. As it sold these meme currencies practically quickly after purchasing them, as is customary, this wallet now has no Shiba Inus.

Shiba Inu’s price is now $0.00001063, down about 2.5% from the previous day, according to information provided by the analytics firm CoinMarketCap.
