
Shibburn wallet tracker has reported that 85% less SHIB had been destroyed in the last week than the week before by the SHIB army. Today, the burn rate is quite high on both a daily and weekly basis.
A new tweet claims that just 360,222 meme coins have been taken from circulation during the past 24 hours, or SHIB. That is a decrease of 84% from yesterday.
Regarding the weekly burns, a total of 66,116,769 SHIB have been obliterated during the last seven days.
Due to this week’s and the previous day’s extraordinarily low daily burns, the weekly burn decreased 85.09% from Friday, when the total quantity totaled 293,566,203 SHIB.
Shytoshi Kusama announces Shibcalls — new IRL component
According to a report from U.Today, earlier this week, Shytoshi Kusama, the principal creator of Shiba Inu and its Layer-2 protocol Shibarium, who is known in the community by his alias Shytoshi Kusama, alerted the SHIB army about a brand-new SHIB feature dubbed “Shibcalls.”
In the Shibarium Telegram channel, he sent a link to their Twitter account and referred to them as “one more step towards Shibarium.” Lucie, the SHIB team’s content marketing manager, subsequently provided further information about Shibcalls’ capabilities in a tweet. She referred to them as a “IRL” (in-real-life) component and said that they will be able to create numerous SHIB-themed merchandise.
According to Lucie’s tweet, the IRL component will enable the Shiba Inu ecosystem to spread well beyond the internet’s “digital realm” and into the actual world.
