Twitter Payments LLC received approval for a licence in yet another US state, Rhode Island, on August 28, according to the website of NMLS licences essential for processing bitcoin payments.
Twitter Payments gets a new license, DOGE rises 4.34%
Elon Musk’s Twitter-affiliated business, which has now changed its name to the X app, can now handle cryptocurrency transactions in seven states: Arizona, Missouri, Georgia, Maryland, Michigan, New Hampshire, and as of right now, Rhode Island. According to the information provided on the website, the other six Rhode Island currency transmission licences were issued early this year.
When it occurred on August 28, the Elon Musk-favored cryptocurrency Dogecoin saw a price increase of about 2.55% before quickly falling again.
The DOGE army is closely monitoring the news that Twitter Payments LLC has been granted these licences because they believe Musk will soon incorporate Dogecoin-based crypto payments on the X app. At the time of publication, DOGE is trading at $0.06455, up by 4.34%.

The unexpected surge in the price of Bitcoin caused by Grayscale’s legal victory over the SEC in the Bitcoin ETF lawsuit is also contributing to the recent rise in DOGE.
Musk plans to connect X and DOGE accepting Tesla
Elon Musk said in a tweet (X post) earlier today that he plans to create a dedicated app to let Tesla users catch up with the new content appearing in their feed on the X app.
He makes indications that, should Twitter eventually implement DOGE payments, Tesla may follow suit. In addition, Tesla will start accepting Dogecoin for purchases in its online store by the end of 2021.
The spring of 2022 saw SpaceX do the same.
