Popular Robinhood Trading App Announces It Will Launch Beta Of Its Crypto Wallets In A Few Weeks

Robinhood has finally announced the approximate date for rolling out the beta test version of their cryptocurrency wallets – something that the SHIB community has been looking forward to since late September, hoping that the app will list this meme crypto.

According to the September 22 announcement, these wallets would allow trading, as well as sending and receiving crypto on the app.

Meanwhile, over 1.6 million people have signed up on the waitlist for these wallets already. Less than one million people signed up in one month.

Beta trials will start in mid-January

With alpha testing now complete, the beta of the wallets will launch in just a few weeks – in mid-January next year. According to a survey conducted by Robinhood of its users, customers who have tested the alpha version, they would like Robinhood to provide educational content on cryptography so that they can understand terms such as “transaction ID” and “transaction fees”. network”.

So, for this educational purpose, the app will expand its Robinhood Learn articles to cover crypto in addition to regular asset classes.

Additional security for wallets

Robinhood’s blog post states that there will be a separate wallet for each cryptocurrency traded on the app. The survey indicates that 66% of users have no crypto wallet and expect to have only one wallet for all their crypto transactions. But since all transfers will be chain-linked, each room will be assigned a separate address.

Robinhood also shared that it will add some extra security features for crypto wallets, including a multi-factor authentication feature.

Will Robinhood list SHIB after all?

The Shiba Inu community longed for Robinhood to add SHIB to their list of traded assets. The Change.org petition for this issue has already collected 553,472 signatures.

The SHIB army on Twitter tweets every day about the listing request to Robinhood, as they believe that when the app adds the token, its price will soar toward a new historic peak.
