335 Million XRP Shifted by Ripple and Exchanges as XRP Trades on the Dip

Ripple and several leading exchanges have transferred over 335 million XRP while the coin’s price keeps going down

Crypto tracking service Whale Alert, which focuses on tracking large crypto transactions, has detected several transactions carrying large amounts of Ripple-affiliated XRP tokens.

More than 330 million tokens has been moved with Ripple fintech giant taking an active part in moving these funds on the blockchain.

Meanwhile, XRP is showing a decline of 4.71% over the past twenty-four hours.

335 million XRP wired by top platforms

Whale Alert has posted a series of tweets to spread the word about seven large XRP transactions. The biggest one was made by Ripple blockchain monster as it moved 70,000,000 coins to one of its reserve wallets – RL18-VN.

This company wallet is used to move crypto beyond Ripple – to its customers, exchanges, and to cover operational expenses.

This amount of XRP is evaluated at $26,718,456 at the current exchange rate.

A slightly larger amount was paid by Mexico-based exchange Bitso – 74,800,000 XRP. Bitso is a crypto unicorn, the only one in Latin America, and a company in which Ripple invested an undisclosed amount in the fall of 2019, making the exchange its partner on its on-demand liquidity service (ODL) for a fast and inexpensive service. funds transfer that takes advantage of XRP.

The rest five transactions carried lumps of roughly 30 million and 40 million XRP from exchanges Bitstamp, Bittrex, etc.
