Dogecoin Foundation says that it seeks to maximize potential for Dogecoin

The mission of the Dogecoin Foundation is to see Dogecoin become the de facto means of exchanging goods and services globally. Timothy Stebbingthe director of the Dogecoin Foundation, took that mantra to the streets, using Dogecoin to buy coffee at an Australian cafe while encouraging a local artist to sell artwork “exclusively in Dogecoin”.

In a series of tweets last month, Billy Markus, the co-creator of Dogecoin, shared his desire for cryptocurrency. He wants Dogecoin to have a reason to exist and keep adding utility.

The Dogecoin Foundation says it seeks to maximize Dogecoin’s potential to positively impact the lives of people everywhere by offering projects that allow everyone on earth to create a non-custodial Dogecoin wallet and trade Dogecoin against products and services.

The Dogecoin team has continued to lay the foundation for numerous future Dogecoin projects over the past few months with Libdogecoin, a programming library or set of building blocks for developing Dogecoin projects.

One such initiative, the GigaWallet, aims to offer a free solution for tipping and online trading through the integration of regular non-custodial wallets with the Dogecoin network.
