What is Ember Sword?
Ember Sword is a free-to-play, modern, and truly player-driven MMORPG (Massively Multiplayer Online Roleplaying Game) with a real economy powered by Ethereum Blockchain. It’s a new kind of fantasy MMORPG where players are in control. Cosmetics and scarce in-game assets will be tokenized, allowing them to be acquired for free through the game and then bought and sold by PIXEL as landowners evolve the world by manipulating land, resources and services. For example, one owner might put in resources like ores and wood used to craft, while others might introduce monsters or non-player characters.
Players can keep the game alive and ever-changing while earning profit through creative services. These, as mentioned above, will include markets where players buy in-game subscriptions, access auctions, and more. Cosmetic items can include skins, building skins, emotes, weapon skins, and more. The essential point is that they all reside on the blockchain in limited supply, creating the economy of value, scarcity and rarity. These game items are acquired by collecting tradable cryptographic collectible card sets. Cards are rewarded for various gameplay elements, including control of Outlaw territory or through player-versus-environment challenges such as boss battles. Gathering these collectible cards allows players to showcase their experience and gain community status by “displaying” in-game cosmetic items or trading collectibles with other players for PIXEL.

The world
- TERRITORIES – The moon of Thanabus is divided into four nations. Each nation has three types of territories, each representing a different challenge: Royalty, Desert, and Outlaw.
- CARAVAN TRADE – Acquire valuable resources unique to your home region and sell them by launching a caravan through the dangerous Outlaw Territories.
- LAND OWNERSHIP – The first Ember Sword land sale takes place in Solarwood – one of the four nations of Thanabus. The sale features four types of land: regular lots, settlements, towns and cities.
- AI MASTER – In Ember Sword, the world is alive and populated with real players. The AI Master utilizes the players around you to create new experiences every time you play.

- SOLARWOOD – Would you seek a life in the forest, where great scholars seek to recover society’s lost potential? Maybe you’ll find your place in Solarwood!
- DUSKERON – Would you escape to the desert, where traders and scavengers vicariously maneuver between rampant automatons and unholy beasts? Duskeron calls!
- SEVREND – A jungle beckons to you – a desert of alien beasts and carnivorous fauna? If so, join the bereaved of Sevrend and defend against the Republic.
- EDISEAU – The frigid tundra of Ediseau holds the seat of power for the Republic’s undisputed dominion over the moon’s northern hemisphere.
Blockchain
- NON-FUNGIBLE TOKENS (NFTS) – All cosmetic items and lands in Ember Sword are represented by non-fungible tokens, known as NFTs. That’s why you actually own your digital assets in Ember Sword.
- TRUE OWNERSHIP – Because of the blockchain, players will always have their cosmetics without exception; even developers are not able to return cosmetics after they are distributed.
- TRULY COLLECTABLE – Every cosmetic item has an item history attached to it. If your sword was the first to kill a new boss or player at the end of the game, that feat will show up in the cosmetic, making it truly unique.
- TRANSPARENT RARITY – Each cosmetic item will be numbered. For example: 21 out of 500. This shows that there will never be more than 500 of this particular collectible cosmetic. Even developers can’t do more.
Solarwood – Land ownership
The Ember Sword Community Land Sale takes place in Solarwood – one of the four nations of Thanabus. The sale features four types of land: lots, settlements, towns and cities. As a land owner, you will receive a small percentage of the actual income produced by the property your land belongs to. Revenue is NOT the in-game currency. The total land supply of Thanabus is 160.000 plots. Solarwood consists of 40.000 plots.
Playing Ember Sword
When the game launches, you will have some gameplay options. You can join your guild on quests to find NFT items to sell in the market, defend lands and upgrade your character. You can also own plots of land for extra perks. Or be a solo player – brave the jungle and keep the spoils for yourself. Developers want the game to be completely free and skill-based. In fact, they said, “We hate Pay to Win, and we’re going to keep Ember Sword skill-based and competitive, not implementing any Pay to Win mechanics.”
The game is played in your browser and we are not sure of the actual character creation procedure or if a digital wallet is required to play. However, a digital wallet is required to purchase land through EmberSword.com when land sales are available.
Combat
Active combat is critical to earning valuable NFTs and leveling up your character. There is player-versus-player (PvP) and player-versus-environment (PvE) combat.
Leveling up your character by defeating monsters and other players allows you to craft better weapons, earn more items, and become more powerful in the game. There are three types of weapons: melee, ranged, and energy. There are no hero classes, so you are not tied to any type of weapon.
For armor, there are three types: Heavy (plate), Medium (leather) and Light (fabric). You can mix and match the armor you wear so you don’t get stuck in sets. Eventually, equipment will come with special bonuses, but there is no information on the types of bonuses yet. There are no plans to have character classes in this game. Developers want players to be able to change their gameplay in the blink of an eye. However, using the same weapon type increases your skill with that weapon, so players can specialize despite the lack of classes.

Landscaping
Players can buy plots of land to earn passive income and you get a fancy title. Build camps, NPC houses and more on these terrains. Work until you own a city to build buildings, portals, trading posts and even guild houses.
160.000 installments are planned. When land sales are available, you can purchase land at EmberSword.com. There are no open land sales at the time of writing, but the developers say that future sales will be announced on social media. Land prices vary, and you need to have a digital wallet to buy land. Eventually, players can divide their land into smaller pieces and sell it to other players. Owning land does not give you any in-game/combat advantage or access to exclusive content. Developers don’t want landowners to have a pay-to-play advantage over non-paying users — but there are advantages to owning land, including actual revenue.
NFTs in Ember Sword
Lands are NFTs that can be bought and sold in-game and on the Ember Sword market. Land sales will take place as the game is being developed and nations are created. And once the game is complete, players can buy and sell each other. There are also NFT “collectibles”. These can include avatars, pets, mounts, wearables, and more. These items must be collected and sold and do not come with character buffs.
Each month, new collectibles are introduced to players through PvE and PvP missions or sold in themed sales on the proprietary market. After a month, these collectibles stop being flooded into the game and never play again, creating a shortage. These collectibles can be sold in-game to other players or in secondary markets.
Ember Sword has partnered with OpenSea so players can sell official Ember Sword NFTs with less risk of buying or selling counterfeit NFTs. Ember Sword is working on adding more exchanges to their whitelist. Ember Sword also mentions that eventually they want players to be able to purchase land and collectibles with a credit card.

This makes it easy for anyone to play and win some money. you win the Tokens of the game in different ways that prioritize the emotion and fun of the participants. Furthermore, the graphics are of high quality, making the Ember game activities exciting and immersive.
In Ember Sword, you can buy a regular land, city, village or settlement and enjoy benefits like title and permission to build. If you manage to buy the land correctly, you earn some passive income. You can also sell valuables available on the land, build facilities and rent to others. If you don’t have land, you can earn it through trades and quests.
Landowners in Ember Sword receive half of the income earned in the game. The action is paid in the form of an ERC-20 token. However, you must be active to increase your chances of making a profit. Make sure you attract lots of players to your land to maximize your profits. The best land is in a busy area because it will attract more business.
Revenues can be shared with landowners. Once a month, artists can submit their work to the workshop, and other players will vote for the best. In the game, the winners will have benefits. They can profit when their NFT is sold. Fighting other players or monsters can lead to the discovery of collectibles, which can then be sold to other players.
LAND token
A LAND is an NFT token that represents a piece of land or territory on the Ember Sword map. On this plot of land, which measures 10×10 meters, you can do several things. These include building castles, a monster camp where you can PvE, and a blacksmith tent for crafting. There is a whole universe of possibilities where your creativity and skills are the protagonists of the story. That way, if someone is interested in a city built on a LAND, they can sell it through the game’s marketplace.
