What is Warena (RENA)?
Warena is a strategy game on Binance Smart Chain (BSC), which has a combination of play-to-earn and metaverse elements. In addition, Warena also offers a unique level of customization and the ability to carry NFTs from other metaverses.
Players use their NFT characters to battle and gain more resources, to further improve their NFT and proceed in the game. These characters are also part of a Metaverse broader, Emporia. Warena features fantastic action-survival gameplay, launched in two phases. Its first phase is a 2D tower defense game set in the year 2129, in the so-called Survival Phase. After Earth descended into World War 3 and witnessed the widespread use of biological and nuclear weapons, it turned into a post-apocalyptic landscape with the remaining humans fighting zombies for survival. Players need to cooperate with robots to collect glass spheres, the in-game currency, to level up robot engines and optimize machine parts. The second phase will take place after a Big Bang that fragments the universe into different dimensions and creates the game’s metaverse, where different tribes such as fairies, demons and humans are present.
How Does Warena (RENA) Work?

Emporia is the virtual world in which Warena takes place. Emporia is an acquireable, transferable and mineable finite virtual space, presenting infinite utility to the player and a variety of active and passive ways to utilize their assets to get the most out of the platform. Emporia has its own decentralized financial zone (Eshuya City) and varied terrain that offers different types of benefits to the owner based on location and topography.
Emporia lands, game assets, and the NFT used to play Warena’s 2D and 3D games are purchased using Rena, Ware, or BNB. The WARE token is the main in-game currency used to improve your warriors’ stats and special abilities, build your guild, revive warriors and buy energy in Warena games. Warena gives players ample freedom in how they can customize their NFT and develop their DeFi property. In the Tower Defense game, the gameplay consists of using up to 3 warriors to battle in increasingly difficult stages or to compete in PvP matches.
Rarity, skill and special abilities are the characteristics that define how strong and therefore how valuable NFT warriors are considered. There are 4 rarity classes in Warena; Common, Rare, Epic and Legendary. All warrior rarities will have their own leveling system, with a cap dependent on rarity.

Warena increases in difficulty with each subsequent level in the 2D Tower Defense game, this makes the act of leveling a character the main component of the gameplay loop. Winning matches will provide earnings in the form of resource rewards. These can then be used to level up and improve an NFT skill and skill level to provide a better chance of defeating higher levels. Warena: Resource Points
Resource points are places where special types of resources can be exploited or normal resources found, but in greater abundance. Each piece of land in Emporia has all three terrain types (Soil, Forest and Water) but in different proportions, making each piece of land its own unique digital asset that provides a unique balance of resource mining opportunities. There are two ways to mine Resource Points:
- Idle (Passive Income) – Build the corresponding mining architecture at that RP location for a daily passive income of the respective resource type.
- Minigames (Active Income) – Instead of building architecture, regular players can actively play minigames for each RP type to receive the corresponding resources.
Warena: Architecture
Once a player has an NFT land in the Warena Metaverse, they can also build on it. When there are enough resources (Wood, Rock, Iron), the player can build a new architecture on their land, choosing from the available preset architectures. Players can build two main types of housing; Main buildings and Production Houses.
The main architecture of the terrain, players can only build 1 main structure and gradually upgrade it. There are many types of housing corresponding to the types of land; Farmland, Forest Tree House, Floating Water Home or Guild Hall. Production Houses are the main type of mining architecture and are used to exploit the resources of a given terrain. The type of production house corresponds to your land; Mine (mineral extraction), Hunting Camp (hunting and harvesting animals), Orchards (harvesting berries) and Casa de Pesca (breeding, catching and selling fish).
Warena 3D Metaverse
The start of Warena 3D Metaverse finally brings out the true potential of the Warena gaming ecosystem, both in terms of establishing the ruling economy of the Warena world and expanding its gameplay options.
The same mechanics that governed warrior rarities remain, and with the release of the 3D game, players can expand their NFT collection. The main NFTs that are available in 3D Warena Metaverse are Land NFT and Architecture (production house) NFT.
