Block Ape Scissors is a simple rock-paper-scissors game that allows monkeys to pay entry fees to battles and tournaments with their Tokens farm or meme favorites, earning a share of the pool and potential NFT rewards.
The model will allow NFTs to leverage yield farms in ways that current DeFi mechanics cannot yet accommodate to provide truly personalized DeFi experiences. Block Ape Scissors will provide native yield farming pools that integrate with the gaming platform and grow to other partner projects using our newly created and customized NFT Standards for DeFi.
The solution will provide extended utility to dormant projects and stores of value that will span the expanding gamified ecosystem of products and use cases starting with Block Ape Scissors. Therefore Block Ape Scissors is proud to present the Play to Leverage model. Customized Yield Farming (Generation 2) Block Ape Scissors will be the first cash crop project to offer a customized cash crop experience. Monkeys choose a lock-in value, a lock-in term, and receive a completely random DPY (daily percentage yield) from the smart contract.
As the supply develops, smart yield farming opportunities are envisioned where the system will approach wallet token values and suggest the best strategies for monkeys each time they try to connect and win.

Block Ape Scissors is a simple, simultaneous zero-sum game played over a series of rounds. Whenever one player wins, the other loses. The player who wins the most rounds played is crowned the winner.
Battle Mode
Monkeys can deposit arbitrary amounts of tokens as an entry fee to fight a single opponent in a number of rounds with the winner taking the pool. As the platform develops modeled battle formats, values will be released based on demand and the regularity of standard battles.
Additional leaderboards and metrics will be formed from standard battles, giving you the chance to earn NFTs by fighting opponents through various ways. IE, token turnover, number of battles, wins, losses, etc.
Tournament Mode
The monkeys deposit the amount needed to participate in the tournaments. X monkeys fight in X rounds to advance to other stages. At the time of writing, two tournament styles are planned; a single elimination phase and double rotation. Both scenarios proceed to the playoff bracket phase.
Monkeys that have won specific NFTs are automatically placed in tournament stages and do not have to face opponents in earlier stages. Effectively providing easier paths to prizes and other rewards. There is no limit to the number of tournaments players can participate in at once and they must be running concurrently.
DPY battle mode
After the monkeys lock your deposit and deadline to the farms, they get a random DPY. Portions of this DPY can be used as an entry fee for DPY Battle mode to increase the earning potential on the platform. As a teaser, there will be a maximum cap of 20% DPY gained for a lock-in period and a small fee if the monkeys choose to give up rather than proceed with blocking the funds to the farm.

NFT earnings through battles and tournaments apply various bonuses to fixed income farming activities.
