SHIB burn tracker shows amount of SHIB burned to be 197,799,286 SHIB
According to the Shibburn website, Shiba Inu burns increased by another 5,800% on 6 November. Millions more tokens were sent to the Dead Wallet, which was reflected in the increase in burn rate. In the last 24 hours, 93,876,540 SHIB tokens were burned and 9 transactions were done. This is quite significant as only 2.1 million SHIBs were burnt on the previous day.
In the last seven days, the SHIB burn tracker shows the amount of SHIB burned to be 197,799,286 SHIB.
Meanwhile, the Shiba Inu continues to set new highs in the number of its holders, which now stand at 1,237,156, according to data from WhaleStats. Additionally, the punishment of the holders appears to be at an all-time high. Currently the majority of SHIB holders – exactly 97% – are mid- and long-term investors.
An interesting phenomenon is being seen as the shares of midterm and long-term holders approach parity. The percentage of long-term investors, or “hodlers,” has climbed to 48%, while that of midterm investors is currently 49%, according to data from IntoTheBlock.
A staggering amount of SHIB has been seen among wallets in the past 24 hours. According to Crypto Data Tracker whale alert3,400,897,761,900 SHIB worth $43,022,376 were moved between wallets.
Expectations rise on imminent Shibarium launch
Currently, expectations are in place for an imminent Shibarium release. An official Twitter account, @shibariumnet, has been unveiled, which has over 20,800 followers at press time.
According to the team, it will eventually become a social information hub for everything related to shibarium network and protocol.
