However, many users believe that this “upcoming announcement” may go with Shiberium, the layer 2 protocol for SHIB that the Shib army is looking forward to.
However, as people keep asking the SHIB lead developer Shytoshi Kusama about the date of the release, he would not provide any exact date and has been saying just “soon”.
Earlier this week, news of Shiberium resurfaced on Twitter after the second largest meme coin SHIB suddenly began outperforming the original canine token Dogecoin by 30 percent.
