Marcie Jastrow, a member of the Shiba Inu Metaverse team, recently sent a tweet that alluded to Hollywood’s growing interest in the virtual world.

Former Technicolor CEO Jastrow said on his blog after the National Association of Broadcasters (NAB) Show, “Shib the Metaverse is the buzz of #hollywood and #Shibarium can manage it all – we have this #shibarmy.”

Every year, the NAB Show brings together experts from the media and entertainment industries to talk about the most recent trends and advancements in technology.

With her background as a senior vice president at Technicolor, a large international company recognised for its work on popular games like Call of Duty, Resident Evil, and FIFA, Jastrow’s involvement in the project strengthens its links to the entertainment sector.

The seasoned tech professional, who joined the Shiba Inu team in May, is attempting to establish a number of brand alliances in order to increase the meme coin’s recognition in the entertainment industry.

Hollywood insiders’ rising interest in Shib the Metaverse demonstrates how the entertainment sector has begun to see the promise of virtual worlds and blockchain technology.

The Shiba Inu team received an invitation earlier this year to showcase the metaverse project at the 2023 SXSW music festival in Austin, Texas.

By the end of 2023, the SHIB: The Metaverse will be largely open, giving people the chance to explore, construct, design, play, and develop there. Yet, because the metaverse is a work-in-progress, not all of its components will be finished when it launches.
