Bitcoin (BTC) Advocate John Lennon’s Son Now Follows DOGE Co-Founder on Twitter — Is He After Dogecoin?

Dogecoin

John Lennon’s younger son Sean Ono Lennon said on Twitter that he had started following Billy Markus, the creator of Dogecoin. It appears that Sean Lennon listened to Markus’ Twitter Space before choosing to follow him.

Sean Lennon started endorsing the leading cryptocurrency Bitcoin in 2020. He afterwards listened to Max Keiser’s cryptocurrency podcast “Orange Pill” and said that altogether, BTC had given him more optimism than anything else throughout that trying year when the globe was dealing with the epidemic that claimed thousands of lives.

Later, Sean Ono Lennon started expressing support for other musicians who entered the cryptocurrency industry. Lennon posted specifically in support of Gene Simmons, the iconic bass player for KISS, who entered the crypto space and started tweeting about Bitcoin, ADA, and XRP.

Despite this, Sean Lennon has never acknowledged owning any cryptocurrency, not even Bitcoin. However, in response to a tweet from Stacy Herbert about Bitcoin’s stance against the USD’s traditional fiat currency, he wrote on Twitter in late March of this year that “only Bitcoin can save us now.”

So far, it appears that he is admiring crypto from a distance. In contrast, now that Lennon is a fan of Billy Markus, perhaps he will decide to become closer to cryptocurrencies in the future and perhaps start using Dogecoin.
