SHIB Army Intrigued by CZ Mentioning SHIB in Recent AMA

SHIB

Changpeng Zhao, the CEO of Binance exchange, addressed the meme coin SHIB during the just concluded AMA (“ask me anything”) session, according to the prominent Shiba Inu-themed account @ShibBPP.

There were a lot of SHIB supporters who appeared to be quite interested in that in the tweet’s comment thread.

SHIB army curious at CZ mentioning Shiba Inu

Questions concerning what precisely CZ said about Shiba Inu and in what context he stated it started to flood for @ShibBPP.

Some jokingly speculated that CZ might have mentioned that SHIB’s price fell today after adding a zero. In response to queries from their followers, the tweet’s author was silent.

CZ explaining the listing procedure on Binance

Zhao addressed SHIB during his discussion on meme coins during the AMA session. CZ firstly acknowledged that he had no understanding of meme currencies whatsoever, while he claimed that other individuals have, including as Elon Musk and others.

He was questioned about whether Binance intended to include the freshly launched Pepe meme coin, which is now dominating the market and has surpassed SHIB in terms of trade volume.

The listing procedure is handled by a separate staff at Binance, CZ retorted, adding that he is not involved in it. They look at the user base and trading volume of a cryptocurrency project to see whether there is a probability for this coin to be included.

They never, however, list a coin rapidly because they keep track of how its parameters vary over time. For example, following a high in trading activity, a cryptocurrency’s volume frequently declines. A project has a good probability of being included to Binance if it succeeds.

Here’s what CZ said about Shiba Inu

Again, CZ brought up meme coins, noting that while there are many of them, SHIB is one that sees a lot of market traction and significant volume, which is why it was featured. Regardless of whether a currency is meme-based or not, Binance is not against it. Every currency submitted for listing will be examined by the listing team, and “we’ll see what happens,” according to CZ.

A SHIB competitor called Floki Inu (FLOKI), which has been listed on several exchanges this year and has a rapidly expanding community, may now have a good chance of being listed by Binance. Additionally, Binance.US, the American division of Binance, recently added FLOKI to its listing.

SHIB adds another zero, falling deeper

Shiba Inu has lost more than 3.2% during the last day, dropping from $0.00001029 to its current level of $0.00000996. As a result, the meme coin’s price has decreased and “added” another zero.

SHIB has fallen by a total of 14.16% since April 19, when a huge red candle was shown on an hourly chart.
