Protocol for Shiba Inus Layer 2 On its testnet, Shibarium is observing an increase in the number of active wallet addresses. According to Puppyscan, this number has topped 14 million, standing at 14,215,585 as of publication.

Currently, there are 4,934,064 total transactions, 671,347 total blocks, with an average block time of five seconds.

On March 11, Shibarium beta “Puppynet” was released, much to the delight of the Shiba Inu community. Shibarium is in the initial stage of its testnet, according to a tweet from the Shiba Inu-centric Twitter account LucieSHIB.

The engineers are presently concentrating on the link between the Ethereum network and Shibarium, which will enable the painless movement of current Shiba ecosystem currencies to the new network, according to LucieSHIB, a Shiba Inu content marketing professional.

She also provides an update on the impending launch of the Shibarium mainnet. According to LucieSHIB, the Layer 2 protocol’s progress through beta testing and the outcome of audits will be the primary deciding factors for the deployment of the mainnet. She especially mentions that Shytoshi Kusama, the leader of Shiba Inu, promised audits.

Furthermore, LucieSHIB emphasises how crucial it is to avoid underestimating safety through “crush tests,” and that long-term investors should place safety above all else rather than focusing on price increases.

SHIB: most successful meme coin

The findings of a recent poll on meme currencies by cryptocurrency rating site CoinGecko have been made public.

Shiba Inu was the most successful meme currency in terms of price increases, according to the report, with a peak increase of 8,424,202% above its initial price on August 1, 2020.

There are presently 179 meme coins it records, and as of May 4, 2023, three meme coins—Dogecoin, Shiba Inu, and Pepe—have cracked the top 100 cryptocurrencies by market value.

According to an examination of 10 meme coin price returns, according to CoinGecko, Shiba Inu required a minimum initial investment of $11.87 from its beginning point to attain a holding of $1 million in meme coins.
