Shytoshi Kusama’s New Message Puzzles SHIB Army, Here’s What He Said

SHIB

The Shiba Inu community has received a fresh message from Shytoshi Kusama. Meanwhile, a senior SHIB team member likened Kusama to Vitalik Buterin and spoke of a “upcoming surprise” for the SHIB army.

SHIB army puzzled by Shytoshi’s new status

The leader of the Shiba Inu development team, who goes by a pseudonym, recently updated his Twitter bio to read: “It is easier to attack a castle when they have no moat.”

A member of the SHIB army in Japan, @kuro_9696_9696, posted a screenshot of it. Many Shiba Inu owners started to question what Kusama was trying to imply after seeing that tweet, sounded visibly perplexed.

Many SHIB users believed that this enigmatic statement may be referring to the recent announcement of the Shibarium-Ethereum bridge. They remembered Shytoshi’s well-known reply to the query “wen Shibarium”: “soon.”

Users started questioning Shytoshi and others close to him “wen Shibarium mainnet?” and “when will the promised bridge launch” after the beta network known as Puppynet was released on March 11 and the mainnet promised before May.

Perhaps Shytoshi was also alluding to SHIB competing initiatives; during this year, he repeatedly claimed that rivals were attempting to undermine Shiba Inu.

Shytoshi compared to Vitalik Buterin and Polygon founder

A response to the countless requests for “constant updates” on Shibarium and other SHIB-focused initiatives was recently posted by @LucieSHIB, content marketing expert for the Shiba Inu team.

She took exception at the repeated requests for Kusama to engage with the community and deliver news for them that she saw on Twitter, Discord, and Telegram.

Lucie questioned if co-founders of Ethereum Vitalik Buterin and Polygon Sandeep Nailwal would always maintain their own communities.

The beta release of Shibarium (Puppynet) on March 11 and an upgrade to the SHIB metaverse in a blog post on April 10 were among the changes she reminded the SHIB army had already been released.

She further added that at that time, Lucie and the admins on Discord and Telegram have been actively disseminating information regarding the different partnerships of SHIB that are “discussed behind closed doors”.

The community was reminded by @LucieSHIB of the potential outcomes of these alliances, including a SHIB-branded cold wallet. She also mentioned the creation of Shibarium Spaces, which are forums for talking about everything that is currently going on in the SHIB ecosystem, Shiboshi awards, and a “upcoming surprise.” However, she offered no explanation for what the latter may be.
