Shibarium, the testnet for the Shiba Inu Layer 2 protocol, has broken yet another incredible milestone, this time in terms of the number of transactions. Puppyscan reports that there have been more than nine million transactions overall.

Since its March 11 introduction, Shibarium beta’s “Puppynet” has processed 9,062,412 transactions. With an average block time of 5.0 seconds, there are 876,636 total blocks. Additionally, the number of wallet addresses has crossed 15 million; there are currently 15,777,029 wallet addresses.

As the community eagerly awaits the introduction of the mainnet, the utility of Shibarium beta has continued to rise.

According to the most recent update provided by Unification, the next phase for Shibarium beta is for Shibarium builder to install the relevant OoO and VOR router smart contracts and launch Oracle programmes to handle data requests.

Shibburn’s official Twitter account reports that 1,801,296 SHIB tokens were burned in two transactions throughout the course of the previous day. SHIB was trading at $0.0000087, up 1.56% over the previous day.

A big whale received a transfer of 20 trillion SHIB worth $176 million yesterday, moving it into the fifth-largest position in terms of both SHIB and Dogecoin holdings.
