The much anticipated Shib-themed cold wallet has received an update from the official Shiba Inu Twitter account. The Shiba Inu ecosystem currencies (SHIB, BONE, and LEASH) as well as other crypto assets would be protected by the card-shaped vaults.
Shiba Inu ecosystem representative Lucie alluded to an impending update on the cold wallet presale, as was previously reported.
The official SHIB Twitter account announces that preorders will begin exactly 10 days from now, on May 29.
Last weekend, the blockchain startup Tangem from Switzerland announced a collaboration with Shiba Inu to launch a special cold wallet solution. Because the cold wallet is the same size as a credit card, users only need a card and their cellphones. They do not require a computer or laptop.
Users will be able to store and manage their digital assets, including SHIB, from any location thanks to the new wallet’s support for over 6,000 different currencies. Users will also have access to non-fungible tokens (NFTs), decentralised financing (DeFi), and decentralised exchanges (DEX).
The Brazilian cryptocurrency exchange Digitra.com just announced the addition of Shiba Inu compatibility, which is good news for listings. It follows that customers of Digitra can now buy, sell, or keep SHIB without having to pay any fees.
The SHIB burn website reports an 182% increase in the Shiba Inu burn rate. This follows the 24-hour period during which 2,078,271 SHIB tokens were burnt in a single transaction.
