SHIB Loses AAA Rating on Certik, Community Wants More Upgrades Soon

Shibarium

Major blockchain security platform Certik has dropped SHIB off the AAA list of cryptos where it had previously been, according to prominent SHIB-themed account @ShibBPP.

The main popular digital currency has now dropped to number 51 on their scale for security score.

The SHIB community is worried that there haven’t been any recent updates to Shibarium and is hoping that this will change soon. Despite Kusama’s latest Telegram post promising “many updates,” none have shown as of yet.

SHIB’s security score downgraded

Shiba Inu, the second-largest meme currency, currently has a security score of 51 on Certik. The rating for this page, which is already the second on the list, is AA rather than the previous rating of AAA.

SHIB even dropped lower earlier this month, to 57th rank, according to a thorough study by Certik. However, it is currently back at 51. The coin currently has a 93.67 security score. The platform rates the market sentiment indicator at 53 out of 100, which it classifies as “neutral,” and the social sentiment measure at 79 out of 100, which it rates as “mostly positive.”

Shiba Inu has seen an increase in the number of owners. The overall number of holders has increased by 673, bringing the total to 2,387,785.

Shytoshi promises “many updates”

Shytoshi Kusama, the enigmatic head of Shiba Inu developers, announced in the Shibarium Tech Telegram chat room earlier this month that he and his team are very enthusiastic about the future of SHIB and its Layer 2 network and promised that there will be many updates soon as they “move fast on all fronts okay.” This was reported by U.Today.

Before then, one of the chat’s admins mentioned that a lot of things were about to happen but he couldn’t provide any specifics and advised the community to hold off until formal announcements.

Community members continuously questioning Shytoshi in the IRC, “Wen Shibarium?” in the interim. (i.e., when will the mainnet start, which was first scheduled to begin in May) and “wen updates?”

Overall, Shytoshi recently asserted that his comments on the launch of the Shibarium mainnet in May were misinterpreted and that he and his team are now more concerned with their current projects than with any specific dates.
