$2 Billion in DOGE Held by Robinhood Now After Big Decline in Its Dogecoin Supply

DOGE

The @DogeWhaleAlert wallet tracker just tweeted that over the previous 24 hours, anonymous wallets have transferred just over 200 million Dogecoin among themselves.

A total of 214.8 million Dogecoins were moved in four transactions, each holding 50 million and 57 million DOGE. An unidentified wallet sent a total of 50,054,471 DOGE to the Binance exchange. The total value of the Dogecoins that were transferred is around 15 million.

Robinhood’s DOGE stash shrinks drastically

The same source claims that the popular trading site Robinhood has lately noticed a significant drop in the quantity of DOGE it has.

While it maintained 24% of the circulating supply on behalf of its customers for more than a year, @DogeWhaleAlert earlier this week informed the crypto community that the amount of DOGE held in Robinhood’s wallets had now decreased by 8%, reaching 16% of the original meme cryptocurrency’s circulating supply.

A total of 22,641,958,530 Dogecoins, valued at $1,614,439,569.

The wallet tracker attributed the sharp fall in DOGE supply to previous, huge Dogecoin withdrawals from Robinhood. At that time, Robinhood received several transactions totaling 5,700,000,000 DOGE that were sent to unknown addresses. Each of those parts included 680 million Dogecoins.
