Interoperability between Cardano and Polygon is now available because to the launch of Blueshift’s new cross-chain protocol, the cross-chain liquidity aggregator.
Between Polygon and Cardano, bridgeless cross-chain swaps will be possible because to the new protocol known as BluesChain.
On the chains that Blueshift is currently connected to, users can also exchange tokens, including the Layer 2 protocol Milkomeda, the Algorand EVM-compatible chain developed by Milkomeda, known as Algorand A1, the Cardano EVM-compatible chain developed by Milkomeda, known as Cardano C1, the Kava chain, and Polygon.
By the end of the summer of 2023, Blueshift hopes to link with every Ethereum L2 as it works to push the boundaries of cross-chain interoperable decentralised exchanges (DEX) in the decentralised finance (DeFi) space.
By leveraging BluesChain, users would be able to execute swaps between several ecosystems without the need for a centralised authority.
It functions as a distributed ledger for the linked chains, tracking and organising cross-chain transactions. This indicates that the solution interacts directly with the several linked blockchains rather than using wrapped assets to shift assets.
Messari highlights top dApps on Cardano
Messari, an on-chain analytics company, offers its thoughts on the data presented in its Cardano Q1 2023 report.
According to it, “jpgstoreNFT and MinswapDEX continue to be the top NFT marketplaces and DEX on Cardano, respectively, in terms of gross activity.”
