A semi-joking tweet from Lucie, a content marketing professional for the Shiba Inu ecosystem, said that Bitcoin could be able to contribute significantly to solving one of humanity’s biggest challenges by enhancing people’s health.
According to Lucie, she “gets sick when watching physical money,” which includes handling banknotes (as in the linked video, where a Chinese guy is counting notes like a pro) and spreading “lots of germs,” thus she recommends “remembering to wash your hands.”
She comes to the conclusion that utilising cryptocurrencies would assist with health and that there will be “no more spreading diseases by touching money.” According to the tweet, Lucie appears to think that the Shibarium trio of SHIB, BONE, and LEASH in particular will do that.
It is important to remember that during the pandemic two years ago, when health agencies strongly advised avoiding contact with banknotes out of concern that germs would transmit via them, a significant increase in the usage of digital currencies and electronic payments in general was observed. Since then, the market for digital payments has grown significantly throughout South America and Africa.
Shytoshi Kusama slams FUD makers
Shytoshi Kusama, the project’s leader and well-known figure in the community, has criticised people who have been spreading FUD (false and misleading information, also known as “fear, uncertainty, and doubt” or “FUD”) regarding Shibarium.
Kusama threatened that the fudders would be “completely rekt,” terrifying them to death with that statement. He also gave an explanation for his recent silence, saying that it was probably part of his strategy to speak less but act more. This is the reason Kusama has been silent recently and hasn’t shared any updates; it appears that a lot of items are now under construction.
Here’s when Shibarium launch expected
Shibarium’s mainnet debut is now anticipated to occur before the third quarter of this year. Lucie said that the SHIB development team will first release the SHIB bridge, an Ethereum-linked swap, and perhaps even the ShibaSwap 2.0 DEX. She recently stated that the debut of Shibarium will occur “at the best time,” which is when the cryptocurrency market starts to rebound.
