Soon, Root Network, a forthcoming cross-chain network, will offer XRP token rewards to its validators and stakers. On Twitter, community supporter Dip Collector made this claim in response to a debate regarding the possibility of XRP Ledger sidechains.
He claims that the “very advanced” blockchain would make use of the Polkadot Substrate technology and be fully interoperable with the Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM). ROOT, a key native asset, will serve as the foundation for its tokenomics.
At the same time, XRP will be used to pay out incentives to ROOT stakers. The network’s gas token will be the adored cryptocurrency of the XRP army.
Other cryptocurrency owners will be able to simply exchange their currencies into XRP to cover petrol costs. In order to promote the liquidity ecosystem of the XRP Ledger, Root Network will be linked to the XRPL DEX.
