Cardano (ADA) Founder Says He Gets Confused for Vitalik Buterin, Here’s Why

Cardano

Charles Hoskinson, the founder of IOG, the group responsible for creating the Cardano blockchain, has responded to a rumour that has been going about on cryptocurrency Twitter. Hoskinson asserts that occasionally, people come up with claims that he once worked for Ripple Labs.

“You’re confusing me for Vitalik”

Hoskinson claimed that some Twitter users have claimed he was an intern for Ripple in the company’s early years. That rumour was disproved by the founder of Cardano, who added that he had never had any position with Ripple Labs and that it’s possible they mistaken him for Vitalik Buterin, the co-founder of Ethereum, who is also a crypto millionaire. He most likely attempted to be an intern at Ripple in 2013 based on a tweet he sent in 2019.

Strangely enough, Hoskinson and Buterin both contributed to the development of the Ethereum blockchain, although Hoskinson departed the project early to implement his own ideas for a blockchain.

The Cardano chain was subsequently launched by him through Input Output Global (IOHK), which he later renamed Input Output Global (IOG) after transferring its headquarters from Hong Kong to Wyoming in the United States.

Cardano founder fights his way through haters

Charles Hoskinson has been defending himself against Cardano haters and detractors who have been tweeting insults against him. The major reason for people’s attacks on the creator of Cardano over the past few weeks has to do with his excursion to “look for aliens” in the Pacific Ocean; an interplanetary object is thought to be a meteor that fell to Earth and survived intact.

Additionally, he appears to have taken part in the hunt for the submarine that dove into the spot where the Titanic sunk one hundred years ago. The submarine also sank after losing touch with the outside world. Hoskinson recently verified it in a tweet, indicating that the few passengers it carried are likely long since deceased.

Regarding Hoskinson’s “hunt for aliens,” one of the detractors said that he was “wasting other people’s money,” which Hoskinson contested by asking, “Somehow the money I possess is theirs? What sort of bizarre communist country is this?
