Shiba Inu’s Shytoshi Kusama Shares Shibarium “Launch Strategy” with SHIB Army

Shibarium

Shytoshi Kusama, the chief developer of SHIB, responded to multiple posts on the Telegram channel “Shibarium Tech” by saying that he has “a launch strategy” and that “he cannot change the date or plan” in a recent message.

Due to the frequent “wen Shibarium” inquiries Kusama receives, users assume that the much-anticipated debut of the Layer-2 network for SHIB is what he is referring to.

Is SHIB going to Rome?

Shytoshi had already piqued the interest of the SHIB community with a mysterious tweet that said SHIB was “going somewhere” the day before. The community started speculating on the Telegram channel, but Kusama dismissed them as inaccurate speculations and said that SHIB was travelling outside of the United States without providing any other information. However, based on his Telegram comments, it appears like Rome is the “somewhere” SHIB is travelling. There are currently no details, although they may subsequently surface on social media.

Kusama hasn’t said why SHIB has to move forward either, but it may be tied to the challenging regulatory environment surrounding cryptocurrencies in the US given that the SEC has recently been pursuing crypto platforms and accusing them of breaking US securities laws. Recently, the regulatory body filed lawsuits against Binance and Coinbase.

The community has been anticipating the Shibarium mainnet release since May. This is related to the Shibarium and the “launch strategy”. On March 11, Puppynet’s beta version was made public, and since then, it has made significant progress in terms of both the volume of transactions and the number of wallets connected to the network.

“Shibarium benefits for users”, per SHIB team member Lucie

Shiba Inu’s content marketing manager, @LucieSHIB (@LucieSHIB on crypto Twitter), sent a tweet in which she elaborated on the advantages of integrating Shibarium for the SHIB network.

The Layer-2 solution, Shibarium, according to Lucie, will present interesting potential for numerous projects who choose to base their dapps on it. Additionally, the price of the Bone ShibaSwap (BONE) token, which is used to pay for petrol on Shibarium, will be significantly impacted by the introduction of Shibarium.

Lucie emphasised that as Shibarium transactions are conducted off-chain, projects employing it will be able to reach significant levels of scalability. As a result, it ought to “provide seamless user experience” and encourage greater acceptance of their tokens and projects.

One of Shibarium’s main benefits, according to Lucie, is its cost-effectiveness, which will assist to significantly reduce the gas costs associated with utilising dapps and executing smart contracts. Low petrol costs are anticipated to draw more users and developers to create decentralised applications and smart contracts, transforming their projects into prosperous ecosystems. According to Lucie, Shibarium’s improved security function is one of the platform’s main advantages for consumers.
