XRP Community Is a “Cult,” Says Fox Business Anchor

Charles Gasparino, a Fox Business presenter, is now being attacked by XRP backers whom he recently labelled as a “cult.” Gasparino outlined his turbulent interaction with the XRP community in a series of tweets, characterising it as a difficult yet exciting aspect of his employment. “They referred to me as a hero after I published the XRP crowd adored. Gasparino remarked in a tweet, “When I reported a few things they hate, I’m public enemy No. 1,” highlighting the explosive reaction he receives from the XRP community.

The continuing legal dispute between Ripple and the SEC provides a greater background for Gasparino’s encounters with the XRP community. The business Ripple, which is linked to the cryptocurrency XRP, might be subject to fines of up to $1 billion. Gasparino recently questioned Ripple’s handling of this big payment in a series of tweets. He mentioned that the business could have to either use some of its $1 billion in cash on hand or reduce its XRP holdings.

When the Fox Business host unintentionally pushed an XRP-related fraud, his tense relationship with XRP backers recently became worse. Gasparino quote-tweeted a message purporting to be from Ripple in an effort to draw attention to the company’s purported disassociation from XRP.

The tweet welcomed followers to become a member of their community and announced a relationship with Coinbase. However, the XRP community quickly identified this tweet as a fraud, drawing more condemnation for Gasparino.

Gasparino’s gaffe was pointed out by critics including Twitter user King Solomon, who wrote, “You literally just quote tweeted a scam post.” Another user, XRP_Cro, implied that Gasparino should have been aware of the fact that Ripple has never hosted an airdrop event for the XRP community by repeating this fact.

An interview with Garlinghouse?

According to U.Today, while the market was processing the decision following a brief period of euphoria that sent the XRP price to fourth place on CoinMarketCap, Gasparino cast doubt on whether or not the high-profile decision in the Ripple v. SEC case was actually a win for the San Francisco-based company. He also made it clear that he hadn’t approached Garlinghouse for an interview.

Garlinghouse replied by inviting Gasparino to talk about the details in the Fox Business studio. Any depiction of the SEC case as a split win, he claimed, was “pathetic.” He asserted that Ripple’s lawyers and several other members of the legal community all agreed that Ripple had won the case in his opinion on all material points.
