Just a few days after surpassing the 31 million transaction threshold, the Shiba Inu Layer 2 testnet, or the Shibarium beta, has established a new record by reaching 32 million total transactions.

Shibarium testnet “Puppynet” has experienced 32,094,269 total transactions, according to Puppyscan, indicating the network’s constantly rising usefulness. Likewise, there are now 1,825,723 blocks total, an increase over the previous amount. There are currently 17,062,525 wallet addresses, which indicates a rise.

Shiba Inu leader Shytoshi Kusama tweeted his happiness over the increasing user engagement on the Layer 2 Shiba Inu network, as seen by total transactions and wallets, as was previously reported.

Ahead of its premiere, Shibarium is attracting more attention as exciting times lay ahead. Shibarium’s endorsement from the cryptocurrency lending platform CoinRabbit has been reinforced, with the company pointing out that it was the first of its type to list both SHIB and BONE.

The company tweeted, “And we can’t wait to be the first crypto lending service to support Shibarium.”

Shiba Inu sees 73% growth in short-term traders

The IntoTheBlock blockchain analytics firm aggregates addresses depending on how long they have owned a cryptocurrency asset. Those addresses that have owned the asset for a year or longer are classified as “hodlers,” also referred to as long-term investors. As opposed to “cruisers,” who retain coins for one to twelve months, midterm or “swing” traders are considered to be the more active coin holders. Those who are short-term speculators and have owned the asset for less than a month are referred to as “traders.”

While hodlers barely increased by 2.60% over the past 30 days, Shiba Inu has seen a 73.93% surge in traders.
