Shiba Inu Account Sports New Gold Check Mark

Shiba Inu

The well-known cryptocurrency Shiba Inu, named after the same-named dog breed, has displayed a brand-new gold tick mark on its 3.4 million-follower X account, confirming its position as a legitimate company account under Twitter’s Verified Organisations programme.

After being rebranded as “X” by its owner Elon Musk, the social networking site has undergone a number of significant changes and improvements.

To distinguish between various sorts of verified accounts, Twitter has implemented gold, grey, and blue tick marks. Shiba Inu now has the gold tick mark, which denotes a legitimate business account.

Businesses must sign up for the Twitter Verified Organisations programme and pay a $1,000 monthly subscription fee in order to receive this benefit.

Among other perks, the advantages come with a checkbox, a square avatar, Twitter Blue features, and the ability to link affiliate accounts.

Shiba Inu’s achievement of the gold tick mark caused a great deal of enthusiasm among its supporters, and many of them began to speculate about what this would mean for the cryptocurrency.

Despite the recent contentious rebranding and modifications on Twitter, Shiba Inu‘s new verified status is a welcome acknowledgement of the cryptocurrency’s expanding impact.

Despite the modifications and improvements, it is important to note that the switch from Twitter to X has not been fully seamless. Elon Musk’s radical decision to rename Twitter’s product “X,” do away with the bird emblem, and remove phrases like “tweet,” is said to have destroyed between $4 billion and $20 billion in value.

Now that the platform has undergone a name change, it must start from scratch rebuilding its cultural impact and linguistic consensus.
