Shiba Inu: Fake ShibaSwap Exposed, SHIB Community Alerted

ShibaSwap

The ShibaArmy Scam Alerts account, @susbarium, which is committed to safeguarding the Shiba Inu community against scammers, has recently released a few alerts.

Scammers or other dishonest people want to take advantage of Shiba Inu’s expanding popularity to rob unwary investors of their money as Shiba Inu continues to blossom with new advancements.

The SHIB community gets alerted by Susbarium about a bogus ShibaSwap website, saying, “Fake Shibaswap website, be careful out there.” Additionally, a screenshot of a phoney Shibaswap platform with a fictitious internet address was published. It advised people not to click on the link since it will only be used to steal their money.

With a decentralised exchange (DEX) and passive income-generating services including staking, liquidity pools, and yield farming, Shiba Inu’s ShibaSwap platform was introduced in July 2021.

The false Shibaswap website amusingly mimics comparable elements of the real Shibaswap DEX; as a result, it only takes a keen observer to see the changes, which begin with a bogus domain address.

These criminals appear to mostly target amateurs who are just entering the cryptocurrency industry. Shiba Inu was reportedly enticing to new investors, according to the New Adoption Rate indication from IntoTheBlock data.

The Shibarium Tech platform (SHIBT), which @Susbarium also informed the SHIB community about, has nothing to do with Shiba Inus.

Members of the Shiba Inu community are also advised to be on the lookout for phoney emails that pose as coming from Coinbase and urge recipients to click on links to safeguard their accounts or indicate that the phone number linked to their account has changed.
