Two significant manufacturers, Hyundai and Kia, have accepted the Hedera network, suggesting that blockchain usage is growing.

Hyundai Motor Company and Kia Corporation have announced the introduction of an interesting CO2 emission monitoring system that is based on the Hedera network.

The biggest automaker in South Korea, Hyundai, and Kia have introduced an AI-powered supply chain carbon emissions tracking system on the Hedera network, according to a blog article published by the HBAR Foundation.

The blockchain-based Supplier CO2 Emission Monitoring System (SCEMS) would track business partners’ carbon emissions via the Hedera network. Transparency and data integrity across the supply chains would also be ensured by a successful integration of the project with Hedera.

The blog post states that Hyundai and Kia have chosen to employ Hedera’s network to accomplish their crucial objective of securely and promptly collecting data on carbon emissions. They have apparently verified the network’s performance.

Hyundai and Kia hope to fight climate change and create sustainable supply chains both internally and with its partners in cooperation by using this cutting-edge approach.

From the official Hedera Twitter account, “Hyunda’s integration of Hedera, one of the world’s leading automakers, marks a key milestone for sustainability in the auto industry.”

The biggest bank in Taiwan and the oldest bank in South Korea, Shinhan Bank, completed a global remittance experiment last week to confirm Hedera’s viability for EVM-based stablecoin issuers around the globe.

The Hedera mainnet has completed 16 billion transactions, which is another significant milestone.
