SHIB

On its website, the Shibburn tracking service, which keeps an eye on SHIB “burn transactions,” announces that the second-largest meme coin’s burn rate has increased by about 190% in the previous day.

The pace has increased by 186.75% to 56,353,945 Shiba Inu meme coins burnt overall; this is more than twice as much as what the community has seen on this site in the last two days.

More than 16.33 million have been moved to dead wallets in four transactions within the last hour, signalling an acceleration of these burns. Prior to it, burn transfers happened every two hours, occasionally even twice an hour.

According to Shibburn, the greatest piece that has burnt since last morning is still 10,505,695 SHIB.

SHIB adoption expands every year

The Wirex platform, which 5.5 million of its users have been able to purchase items from 81 million vendors on their site since last year, informed the cryptocurrency community that it is still effectively implementing SHIB. This information was supplied by the official Shiba Inu Twitter account.

Declaring as such, Wirex wished Shiba Inu a happy birthday. The well-known meme cryptocurrency was introduced on July 31, 2020.

Shytoshi Kusama announces “SHIB’s next phase”

The leader of Shiba Inu, known to the community as Shytoshi Kusama, stated on social media that SHIB’s next phase is anticipated following the ETH Toronto conference, as previously reported by U.Today.

He indicated that the Bad Idea AI (BAD) project, one of Shiba Inu’s partners, will play a significant role in it, although he did not elaborate on what he meant by this.

Regarding the significant and much anticipated SHIB improvements, the Shiba Inu team may introduce the Layer-2 Shibarium blockchain in two weeks at the previously announced conference in Canada. Several SHIB Metaverse hubs are anticipated to open as well before September, which is essentially in August.
