DOGE Army Responds to Elon Musk’s Starbucks Tweet, Here’s Why

DOGE

Elon Musk, the head of Twitter, a multibillionaire in the technology industry, and a fan of DOGE, recently tweeted about Starbucks. The retail network of coffee shops received praise from Musk for “reliably serving millions of coffees and snacks every day around the world.”

However, he did acknowledge that many customers also disapprove of Starbucks.

When asked when Starbucks will begin taking Dogecoin, the DOGE community excitedly answered.

Actually, Starbucks currently accepts a variety of cryptocurrencies as payment. The chain mostly offers coffee for cryptocurrency using the SPEDN app by Flexa or Bitrefill gift cards.

U.Today reported on the Bakkt giant’s plans to start working with Starbucks to allow consumers to pay with digital currency a few years ago. The collaboration began in 2021, and in addition to Bakkt, PayPal is also a part of it.

Starbucks and the Polygon blockchain platform joined in December 2022 to offer coffee enthusiasts the chance to earn “Journey Stamp,” a Polygon-based NFT.

Dogecoin is currently trading at $0.07526 and is little more than 2% higher, according to information provided by CoinMarketCap.
