A reentrancy hack (or reentrancy attack) happens when an attacker can access a function and call back into it while it is still running, basically allowing them to repeatedly take money before the initial function call is finished. It is a risky vulnerability since it may swiftly syphon off money, frequently causing projects and investors to lose a lot of money before they even realise an assault is taking place.
