A recent tweet from the top sports blockchain Chiliz hints improvements to its smart contracts. Two planned improvements that will improve its smart contracts were highlighted by Chiliz.
The first improvement would be to contracts, allowing factory contracts to deploy without being whitelisted as deployers, albeit a whitelisted deployer would still be required to deploy the factory contract.
The second upgrade focuses on corrections and enhancements for staking pool contracts. The problem lies with the computation of the delegated amount and the erroneous presentation of the validators’ voting power.
The delegated/undelegated functionalities may need to be unavailable for a brief period of time during the update, according to the Chiliz team, and users may have access issues.

Chilliz chain hits remarkable milestones
The Chiliz chain, a groundbreaking blockchain infrastructure for sports and entertainment, was introduced in May and became live on the mainnet.
The Chiliz chain has expanded significantly since the mainnet’s debut. According to a tweet sent on August 8, it has completed 1,600,000,000 transactions, 200,000 wallet addresses, and more than 5,000,000 blocks.
As of this writing, CHZ has declined somewhat from $0.078 to $0.09 over the previous day by 1.09%. Despite the significant accomplishments made thus far in 2023, Chiliz may be thought to have underperformed in terms of pricing.
Since June, Chiliz has been trading in a range since its price has not changed much. The daily RSI, which is just below the neutral 50 level, indicates that this sideways trend may continue for a little while longer until bulls get a significant push.
