The whale suddenly chose to shift these tokens. They were moved from the previously indicated address to one known only as 0xB48781150f722642b1fbBE25dBD053F58c07CA87. Large holders, or “whales” as they are known informally, frequently move their holdings between locations for a variety of reasons, from security precautions to strategic placement. However, the shocking part of this deal was what happened afterwards.
These coins were quickly transferred from the second anonymous address to a Coinbase address that ended in 0xa9d. A separate transaction of 182 billion SHIB was registered to an address with the designation 0xaC31ce983fd52499BAc0ADb0487C9F10Fe1F3140, which adds still another degree of mystery to the entire issue. It should be noted that this address is a major actor in the SHIB ecosystem; it presently has 588 billion Shiba Inu tokens in its possession.
