As interest grows in Shiba Inu’s blockchain layer, Shibarium, the project’s driving force, Shytoshi Kusama, gave the community an update on the ongoing scaling efforts. In a recent article, Kusama said that the team had focused on establishing several crucial security precautions and had started thorough testing of the blockchain.
According to the project’s leader, Shibarium is now running in private mode and creating blocks as usual. In preparation to cooperate with reputable partners starting on Monday, the team intends to continue testing and scaling. Kusama has emphasised the value of relaxation for the development team before reopening the blockchain to the general public to guarantee optimal performance.
Kusama’s update came after an earlier statement that emphasised the team’s noteworthy advancement on the second day of climbing Shibarium.
For short-term internal testing, they had restarted the blockchain, and they have since been focusing on scaling initiatives in a variety of ways. They were able to increase operations for Shibarium by a startling 1,500% thanks to cooperation with the Alchemy team. In order to prepare the server infrastructure for future growth in traffic, the team also collaborated with decentralised parties and validators to boost it by the same proportion.

Kusama emphasised the heavy traffic, saying that more than 160 million compute units were logged on their corporate plan with Alchemy within only 30 minutes of Shibarium’s introduction. As Shibarium dealt with technological difficulties and apparently fake screenshots on social media implying the launch had failed, the value of the Shiba Inu fell.
