4.6 Trillion SHIB Moved Between Two New Wallets as SHIB Begins to Recover

SHIB

During the last 24 hours, a stunning amount of Shiba Inus have been moved, according to cryptocurrency tracker Whale Alert. Several trillion SHIB, or around $40 million, were exchanged.

Shiba Inu, the second-most popular canine cryptocurrency, started to expand in the interim and has had an astounding surge over the last day.

Whale shifts close to five trillion SHIB

The tracking platform stated above shows that 4,627,778,173,637 SHIB were moved in total. The strange thing about this transaction is that it was made between two freshly created wallets. There have been very few transactions made in the sending wallet during the past one and a half days, and none before that.

Given that this is the only transfer to the wallet that got the 4.6 trillion SHIB, it appears to be brand-new. Thus, it is possible to refer to the birth of a new Shiba Inu whale.

However, earlier this week and last week as well, a number of SHIB lumps of a similar size were also moved to new wallets. However, one of them was removed from the Bitvavo cryptocurrency market.

Nearly 100 million SHIB burned

The SHIB burn rate has decreased by 90% during the past 24 hours, according to statistics from the Shibburn wallet tracker. The Shiba Inu community was nevertheless able to burn 102,973,224 SHIB.

This was accomplished after 17 Shiba Inu currency transfers to wallets that could not be spent, with the largest transactions transferring 18,507,183 SHIB, 15,735,793 SHIB, 13,999,721 SHIB, and 11,888,836 SHIB.

According to U.Today, on August 22, the SHIB army succeeded in burning more over one billion Shiba Inu, increasing the burn rate by 1,000%. In all, 1,984,511,125 SHIB have been destroyed in the previous seven days, which is approximately half of what has been burnt during the last week.

SHIB, however, has increased by 6.40% since yesterday after decreasing by 27% since last Tuesday.

Tangem offers new batch of SHIB wallets

In a previous U.Today story, the Swiss company Tangem, who teamed with SHIB early this year, claimed to have developed a fresh batch of SHIB wallets that are prepared for sale.

This is the second batch; the first, consisting of 5,000 wallets that allow its owners to store and exchange more than 6,000 cryptocurrencies, including SHIB, was shipped to Hong Kong last month and sold to the cryptocurrency community. The wall is the size of a credit card, and using it requires a smartphone that is connected to it.
