In July, 5,000 wallets from the prior, very first batch of these gadgets were sold.

More SHIB wallets for cold storage ready to sell to community

These wallets, which are about the size of a bank card, enable users purchase and trade more than 6,000 cryptocurrencies in addition to storing them. The use of these gadgets, which connect to cellphones, is required for all processes.

According to Tangem, the first 5,000 pre-ordered wallets were likely taken to a warehouse in Hong Kong, where they were then shipped to the customers.

One of the latest occurrences that has elevated the SHIB coin to a new level was users developing their own wallets. Following the release of the wallets, the Layer-2 blockchain Shibarium’s mainnet debut and sponsorship of the Blockchain Futurist Conference in Toronto on August 15–16 took place. Despite the latter’s mixed results, the SHIB team is currently collaborating with two other teams to scale up Shibarium and make it capable of handling far higher traffic levels than was initially anticipated.

Trillions of SHIB again moved by alerted whales

A large SHIB transfer of more over 4 trillion SHIB (4,639,778,173,637 meme coins) was discovered by blockchain monitoring firm Whale Alert. The value of this SHIB stockpile is $37,176,222.

However, over 24 hours ago, the identical amount of SHIB was transferred to a brand-new, newly established anonymous wallet, 3dc585d3f6. This SHIB chunk has since been relocated to an address that ends in -afda976715.

Similar amounts of SHIB were also moved between anonymous wallets on Monday. Last week, two comparable SHIB transactions were seen. A single one of them was taken out of the Bitvavo exchange.

The community refers to these individuals as “whales,” and it appears that many of them are now adding additional meme coins to their collections by taking advantage of the recent sharp reduction in SHIB’s price.

According to the primary developer of Shiba Inu, Shytoshi Kusama, the Shibarium mainnet has so far been introduced in a private mode before being made available for usage by the general public soon.

One billion SHIB ends up in dead wallets

As previously reported by U.Today, the SHIB community was able to burn a total of 1,029,103,167 SHIB over the course of the last 24 hours, with more than half of it being burned in only two transactions (418,719,732 SHIB and 331,507,457 SHIB).

As a result, the burn rate of Shiba Inu increased by almost 1,000%. The 0xShibarium AI, which is based on Shibarium and eagerly anticipating the mainnet debut, moved the aforementioned 418 million meme coins to dead wallets.
