Binance Puts Cristiano Ronaldo to Test With Lie Detector Challenge

Binance

The world’s largest cryptocurrency exchange, Binance, has employed an unconventional marketing tactic by posing a lie detector test to soccer star Cristiano Ronaldo. “Binance gave me one of my hardest challenges yet—facing the lie detector,” Ronaldo added.

His 19-second preview video and accompanying post on X, formerly known as Twitter, have already received over five million views and several comments from his 109 million followers.

Whether Ronaldo would swap all of his Champions League championship trophies for a World Cup victory is the question asked to him in the teaser, which touches on a long-running argument among sports fans over the relative importance of various honours in a player’s career.

Ronaldo and Binance have worked together before. The two parties signed an exclusive multi-year collaboration agreement with Binance last year that was focused on the creation and distribution of different NFT (non-fungible token) collections.

According to U.Today, the celebrity announced the debut of his second NFT collection on Binance last month via social media.

For those who are unfamiliar, a lie detector, sometimes referred to as a polygraph, monitors and records a number of physiological reactions as the subject is questioned and provides replies. These physiological responses include blood pressure, pulse, and skin conductivity.

The hypothesis states that deceitful replies will result in physiological reactions that can be distinguished from those brought on by truthful ones. However, it is important to keep in mind that lie detectors are not always regarded as trustworthy methods for determining the truth, and their findings are not always acceptable in court.
