An urgent warning has been sent to the Shiba Inu community, sometimes referred to as the SHIB army, allowing their finances and valuables to be safeguarded.
A Shiba Inu discord moderator named Davinci forwarded this important warning to the SHIB community, pointing out the alarming rise in fraudulent claims that trick holders. An administrator on Telegram for Shiba Inus, RagnarShib, tweeted a screen grab of Davinci’s message.
Davinci advises vigilance since the SHIB team has observed an odd rise in fraudulent claims that trick holders.

Considering this, Davinci restates that TREAT and SHI have not yet been released, and that anyone claiming otherwise is probably a con artist. According to him, buying anything bearing a similar name will prevent customers from using ShibaHub, Shiba Eternity, or SHIB The Metaverse.
Davinci further educated the Shiba Inu community by stating that buying these phoney TREAT and SHI tokens has no connection to any Shiba ecosystem dApps (Shib.io).
A member of the Shiba Inu team named Lucie expressed the same caution, stating that Treat has not yet been released and that anything being purchased at this time is unrelated to any dApps in the Shiba ecosystem.
The Shiba Inu community is also advised to exercise caution when dealing with imposters or fraudsters, who may set up profiles in an attempt to deceive people into sending false information to cast doubt, divert traffic to fraudulent websites, or collect personal information that might be misused.
Shibarium hits quarter-billion total transactions
The recent year has seen a sharp increase in Shiba Inu’s Layer 2 Shibarium (2023). With over 250 million transactions thus far in 2024, Shibarium is off to a great start.
As per Shibariumscan, the total number of transactions in Shibarium has reached 251,045,409. Wallet addresses have also increased to 1,326,761 in number. Shibarium has completed processing 2,472,031 blocks in total.
