As one of the first companies to test the DN404 standard, a new hybrid token standard that aspires to combine the greatest aspects of fungible and non-fungible tokens (NFTs), Shiba Inu is stepping into a new age of innovation and exploration.
Shiba Inu provides a flashback to its original intent along with its enthusiasm as it enters the DN404 standards experimental test. “Years ago, ShibToken marked the beginning of an adventure, pushing us beyond the boundaries of decentralisation,” it wrote on Twitter.
According to Shiba Inu, this momentous DN404 experiment heralds a daring move into the future.

The great news that Shiba Inu’s first DN404 test was available online was released by the official Sheboshis X account last week. Official Sheboshis links were published on ShibaSwap, Uniswap, and OpenSea.
With “full compliance” with both frameworks, DN404, or “Divisible NFT-404,” is a token implementation based on the current ERC-20 and ERC-721 token specifications.
Developer Kaal Dhairya of Shiba Inu outlined his hopes for the company’s future adventures in a blog post: “We were excited about the ERC 404 standard’s unexplored possibilities as we stepped into its unexplored frontier as a leading example of decentralised experimentation. The much more recent and energetic DN404 standard promised Shibarium a revolutionary voyage.”
On February 20, Sheboshis, a hybrid token and NFT that adheres to the DN404 standard, made its debut. A few days later, it sold out.
The Shiba Inu community is ecstatic at the revelation of Sheboshi’s face. Additionally, new listings for the SHEB coin have been added on the cryptocurrency platforms LBank and CoinW.
